The Association's key task is to carry out institutional activities with a view to providing information and assistance to its Members and contributing towards the solution of leasing-related issues at different levels, in different domestic and international venues. At an international level, Assilea participates, through its representatives, in the Governing Bodies and activities of the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations (Leaseurope). At a domestic level, Assilea is a statutory member of the Italian Bankers' Association (ABI) and participates in all of ABI's Technical Committees working on matters directly or indirectly concerning leasing operations. Assilea has also been a Founding Member of the Italian Accounting Standards Board - the national standard setter responsible for providing uniformity in financial accounting principles in Italy - since its inception in October 2001."

AELA is the national association for the equipment leasing and financing industry. AELA's 100 members encompass more than 90 percent of leasing activity in Australia. With lease and equipment finance facilitating around 40 percent of the nation's equipment capital expenditure, the industry is vitally involved in the equipping of Australia's productive base.

Bulgarian Association for Leasing /BAL/ was established in November, 2005 by the merger of the two leasing associations in Bulgaria and has 20 members with market quota of over 90%. The Association is a legal entity, a non- profit making association which has not political, religious or governmental belongings. BAL is a full member of Leaseurope – the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, and a member of CEIBG – Confederation of the Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria. |
