The Plastics segment includes the operating divisions Performance Polymers and Polyurethanes.
The Performance Polymers division develops engineering plastics, polyamides, polyamide intermediates and biodegradable plastics and foam (intermediate) products. They are used, for example, in packaging, in the building sector, in automotive engineering and in the electrical industry.
The Polyurethanes division’s products are highly versatile: they can be found, for example, as soft foams in automobile seats and furniture, and as efficient, insulating rigid foams in domestic appliances such as refrigerators.
